The DfE have decided that the move to the temporary building has been changed to Easter break.
The additional closure days have changed to be:
- Thursday 26th March
- Friday 27th March
Half Term
- Tuesday 14th April (please note Monday 13th April is an Inset Day)
Whist this change is outside of the school's control, we apologise for any inconvenience that it causes.

Dear Parents/Carers,
I am very pleased to be able to tell you that work on the temporary school will begin on Monday 24th November.
The works site, on the field, will be securely fenced off and workers and deliveries will only access the site via Worth Park Avenue ensuring that the school and building site are completely separated. I can assure you that the school will ensure that the safety of our pupils will be maintained whilst this work takes place.
During the construction and preparation of the temporary building, there will be no changes to how you access the site but the parking in Worth Park Avenue will be either suspended or severely restricted for site access.
I will continue to meet with the contractors and the Department for Education’s representatives who have overall responsibility for the project, and I will keep you informed of progress and significant events. I anticipate that baring significant unforeseen circumstances, there will be no further changes to the school moving during the Easter holidays and until then, the teachers will continue to deliver the teaching and learning we are all proud of.
